ViaSat awarded DISA contract

ViaSat has been awarded a Defense Information Systems Agency contract to support Blue Force Tracking 2.

Under the contract, which has a maximum value of $9.9 million, ViaSat will provide “engineering support services to the Blue Force Tracker-2 program consisting of: Tier 4-6 help desk support, out of warranty repairs, satellite ground stations and satellite network control centers maintenance/inspections, and software assurance,” according to the Department of Defense contract announcement.

The contract is scheduled for completion by January 2018.
