Navy orders helicopter radars for $67.6M

Lockheed Martin has been awarded a $67.6 million Navy contract for helicopter radars.

The indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract calls for up to 103 AN/APS-153(V)1 automatic radar periscope detection and discrimination multi-mode radar kits to upgrade the MH-60R fleet aircraft, according to the Department of Defense contract announcement.

The contract is scheduled for completion by September 2020. The contract was awarded by Naval Air Systems Command.
