Leidos has been awarded a task order by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency to support efforts against weapons of mass destruction.
Under the task order, which was awarded under the Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction Research and Technology Development contract, Leidos will provide modeling and simulation for assessment of chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosives (CBRNE) threats, according to a company news release.
The task order has a one-year base period and two one-year options, which if exercised would bring the contract value to $17 million.
Leidos will support web-based joint collaboration CBRNE assessment tools that allow rapid collaboration between subject matter experts during a CBRNE incident.
