Verizon wins Navy telecom contract

Verizon has been awarded a $23 million Navy contract for telecom services.

Under the indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract, Verizon will provide “integrated, switched voice and data telecommunications services, maintenance, and service responsibilities in support of Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Atlantic,” according to the Department of Defense contract announcement.

The work will be performed in Philadelphia and Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The work is scheduled to be completed by September 2022.
