Syracuse Research Corp. has been awarded a $65 million contract for anti-UAV systems.
Syracuse will develop and deliver “up to 15 sets of the low slow small unmanned aerial system integrated defeat system, which is the counter-unmanned aerial system solution required to meet the mission requirements of the acceleration phase of the joint urgent operational need,” according to the Department of Defense contract announcement.
The contract is scheduled for completion in January 2018.
