Harris wins littoral combat ship contract

Harris Corp. has been awarded an order from General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems for two electronic support measure (ESM) suites for the Navy’s littoral combat ship (LCS).

Harris will provide its AN/SLD-4 electronic surveillance and countermeasure suites, which will be integrated into two new LCS ships, according to a company news release.

Delivery of the ESM suites is scheduled for late 2016.
