DISA awards spectrum support contract

Marine students with the Tactical Air Control Party coursework together to call in air-support where friendly forces are being suppressed by the enemy during a two-day live-fire exercise at Camp Lejeune, N.C., June 20-21, 2016. The exercise, which was the culminating event of the five-week TACP course conducted by Expeditionary Warfare Training Group-Atlantic, certifies Marines in the ability to employ the air-controlled weapons systems on both fixed and rotor-wing aircrafts.

RKF Engineering Solutions has been awarded a contract to support the Defense Information Systems Agency.

Under the indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract, RKF will support the Defense Spectrum Organization, Electromagnetic Spectrum Services, Applied Engineering Support, Mobile Service Provider.

The one-year base portion of the contract is valued at $19.7 million, not counting the four one-year options.

The work will be performed at Annapolis and Fort Meade, Maryland.
