CACI awarded Army C4ISR software contract

Albert “Al” W. Lutes, CECOM IT-Radio master technician, works with a U.S. Marine deployed with the Georgia Liaison Team to troubleshoot a radio problem and provide over the shoulder training. CECOM is the Army’s critical link for life cycle support of the communications- electronics systems and equipment used by the Joint Forces. CECOM executes a sustainment and logistics integration mission across a very broad and complex set of C4ISR systems and capabilities.

CACI has been awarded a three-year, $25 million contract to provide C4ISR software for the Army Communications-Electronics Command’s Software Engineering Center (CECOM SEC).

“CACI will provide application development and sustainment for a wide range of Army enterprise software applications, ranging from historical record-keeping to financial management systems,” according to a company news release.

This is new business for CACI’s command and control division, the company said.
