DCS has been awarded a contract to support ISR research at the Naval Research Laboratory.
Under the five-year Enhanced Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Sensor and System Capability Development contract, “DCS will conduct research that will ultimately provide a capability to reduce intelligence analyst workloads, enhance operator efficiency through reduced detection times, and enhance the capability to detect and track small high-value targets in cluttered environments,” according to a company news release.
“The detection and tracking of targets of interest will be accomplished by combining soft biometrics data with human detection, segmentation algorithms and machine learning,” DCS said.
