Navy awards $49M ISR prototype contract

The Navy has awarded a $49 million contract to three companies to develop ISR sensors.

Consolidated Resource Imaging, Manufacturing Techniques Inc. and Northrop Grumman Xetron were selected for the five-year, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract. They will develop prototypes of “advanced sensors and sensor systems in support of intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and force protection missions.  contracting activity,” according to the Department of Defense contract announcement.
